U9 Playing Rules for the Tournament
2023 U9 Playing Rules , This applies to both Development and Intermediate Divsions
3 minute warm up
2 simultaneous games 4 on 4 plus goalies in each end. Benches are shared with each team at either end.
2 - 22 minute games, 1 minute, 30 second shift buzzer players change on the fly.
At the end of the first 22 minutes the team listed as the visiting team will change ends and a second 22 minute game will take place.
There will be one official per ice surface. Penalties can be call, penaltized player will leave the ice and a new player will sub on. There are no power plays.
